ITINERARY
Day 1:
Transportation will pick you up at the Juan Santamaría International Airport to drive you to Hotel Pure in San Jose.
Day 2:

Transportation will pick you up at Hotel Pure for a day of Mountain Biking! The Gravity Assisted Doka Bike and Coffee Tour is a great tour for sightseeing and enjoying your surroundings. Since this tour is rated ‘easy’, it’s perfect for starting off your vacations in Costa Rica. The tour will start off with a one hour hike to the Poas Volcano, famous for having the largest crater of an active volcano. Since the tour includes all necessary equipment, you will just have to worry about wearing the proper attire and bringing along your camera and others.
The bike ride will start at the Volcano’s parking lot from which you will descend on well maintained roads until you reach the town of Poasito. |

During this descent, you might even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the elusive Quetzal bird! The tour will continue downhill to the town of Sabana Redonda where you will take a short break before entering La Hilda Coffee farm. Inside La Hilda property, you will ride down to the Poas River and up to the Doka Estate farm where you will be treated to traditional Costa Rican hospitality. Typical Costa Rican lunch will be served before you tour the coffee farm, mill and roasting facilities.
Tour includes all equipment, take home water bottles, snacks, lunch, bilingual guide and entrance to the park.
Transportation will be ready to take you back to Hotel Pure.
**A minimum of 6 people must be signed up for this tour to operate. If the minimum is not met, the Mountain Bike tour will be substituted by another tour of your choice. In this case, a price difference may apply**
Day 3:

Transportation will pick you up early in the morning to take you on one of the most popular and fun adventure activity to do in Costa Rica: White Water Rafting. The one day rafting tour is usually a II or III class difficulty for beginners. The two major rivers are the Pacuare and the Reventazon River. Both offer beautiful views and exciting rapids that will give you a thrill to remember! White Water Rafting in Costa Rica has been widely popular for more than 20 years and counts with the most experienced guides in the area. Beautiful canyons as well as fascinating flora and fauna will make you want to come back for more.

The White Water Rafting Tour includes breakfast, bilingual guide, all necessary equipment and lunch.
Transportation will take you back to your Hotel Pure in San Jose.
Day 4:

For this day’s tour, make sure you dress comfortably for your tour to the Canopy Adventure in San Jose de la Montaña. Long pants, comfortable shoes and a light jacket are recommended. Transportation will pick you up at Hotel Pure San Jose to take you to the Canopy Adventure is located about 45 minutes from San Jose at the foot of the Barva Volcano. You will experience the cool clean air of the cloud forest as well as the lush vegetation of the area.
The Canopy Tour itself consists of 13 platforms and 11 cables of sheer fun! Expert and friendly guides will not only lead you through a great tour but will also teach you a few things about the local vegetation.

Transfer back to Hotel Pure for the rest of the day off.
Day 5:
Transportation will be at Hotel Pure bright and early to drive you to one of Costa Rica’s most popular beaches: Tamarindo. Tamarindo Beach is located in Guanacaste and is a great place to carry out many different such as diving, horseback riding, sailing, ATV tours, canopy tours and much more.
Day 6:
Surf’s up! Either if it’s your first time or if you are an avid surfer, The Tamarindo Surf School will guarantee a day filled with fun. If you do not have prior experience on a board, the instructors will guarantee you will stand up and surf your first waves in just one lesson.
If you have vast experience and want to have a great day riding waves, there is also the
option of visiting the famous Roca Bruja and Ollie’s Point.
Day 7:

Start your day with a spectacular Snorkeling Tour! This half day tour includes the boat ride, snorkeling equipment and soft drinks. Water temperature in the Tamarindo area ranges from 68° - 86° Fahrenheit degrees and a visibility from 20 – 70 feet dependingon the location, tides and current.
The rest of the day off for your enjoyment. |
Day 8:
Transportation will be ready upon your checkout to drive you back to Hotel Pure in San Jose.
Day 9:
Transportation will pick you up at the Hotel to drive you to the Juan Santamaria International Airport for your departure back home.
